On Saturday, September 25 from 10am – 1pm we will have the opportunity to meet our neighbors in the Lincoln Central Neighborhood.  We will have a Festival in the grassy lot by the east parking lot , which will take place at the same time as the Auto Maintenance Ministry. The Festival will include games for children, health screenings and more. This summer's sermon series has reminded us to demonstrate God's love with one another and this will provide an opportunity to do just that. There are many opportunities to serve. Auto Maintenance Ministry
The next Auto Maintenance Ministry workday is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, (rain date October 9) from 7:00am-1:00pm in the East parking lot.   This twice a year event allows us to share Christ's love while providing immediate assistance to approximately
75 persons in need.  Types of work done by our volunteers during the event:

Fluids-Change oil & filter, check & top off the under-hood fluids and change air filters.
Electrical & Repair- Perform minor repairs, belts, wiper blades, bulbs, fuses, etc.
Parts- Order and maintain supplies, parts pick-up.
Greeter- Check-in clients and their vehicles, complete registration paperwork.
Hosts- Socialize with clients, make them feel welcome
Refreshments- Coffee, soft drinks, grilling hamburgers, etc.
Prayer Requests –  Process write-in requests received from our area neighbors
Children's games & activities

If you have not volunteered with us before and would like to participate, please contact Don Lakin at 342-7656.  Even if you don't know how to "spin a wrench" we can still use your help!  Also, another way you can provide valuable support is by picking up a Love Bug on the narthex window and donating the necessary supplies.
